I stripped my bed of the bedspread and pillows so you can see that it
covers the entire surface and then some of my California King bed.
A gazillion years ago, my sister Martha and I were on a kick of making scrap yarn afghans (a great way to use up all those left-over skeins!). At the time, she lived in a mobile home, so as her blanket grew she would refer to it as her trailer cozy. When she completed her SINGLE CROCHETED masterpiece, I was thrilled because she surprised me by giving it to me, and I have slept with it ever since. My sister is an awesome possum!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by! I post things I craft or make in the kitchen and sometimes talk about my family. I'm the mom of identical twin daughters who are all grown up now, and I've been married for almost 40 years. My life isn't very exciting, but I like it that way. Whether you are a subscriber or not, I hope I've shared something you can relate to and feel at home here in my little house out back.
