I’ve had this metal/silver/pewter? pick for years and years. It was a gift from my brother George who recently passed away, something he spotted at a yard sale, brand-new, still in its little plastic case. Every now and again he’d ask me if I still had it. I use it every single day.

He was definitely king of yard selling and flea markets. Once in a while he’d find what we dubbed a screamer, something extra cool he’d find like a lady pin (of which I have many from him) or something Wizard of Ozzy. He’d say, “Dot, I think I have a screamer for you,” and when he’d give it to me, sure enough, I’d let out an operatic “ahhhhhhhhhh!”

He called me almost every day; it’s weird not hearing the phone ring so much.

This is a wall of mostly Easton Press books at Cal's Books in Redding, California. Isn't it beautiful? I would very much like a wall just like this, pretty please.

It would also be cool to have a library so enormous as to have one of these in order to reach them all.

The shelves in this books store dwarf even the tallest of humans. But bundle up cause baby it's cold inside!

We can't wait to go back!
