Even though I don't get too many comments from readers of my blog, I do get an inordinate amount of anonymous spam. So to keep the spam-bots at bay, I had to turn on the verify option. *sigh*
It's an extra step in leaving a comment, but I hope it doesn't keep you from doing so. I read and respond to all of your comments and enjoy hearing from my readers immensely.
